State News
BNI in Tasmania is exploding !

Since my last newsletter of the 23rd March BNI in Tasmania has exploded. The new chapter in Launceston - BNI Tamar - launched with a bang in late April and has not looked back. With 27 members it is the fastest growing group in the state !
Led by a vibrant leadership team of Celine Egan (P), Carol-Anne Morrison (VP) and David Pretorius (ST), the Tamar chapter is blowing the BNI trumpet loud and clear in the north of the state.

In addition BNI Derwent in Hobart maintained a level of over 25 members for 6 months and were awarded Bronze chapter status in April. They are right on track for Silver status in September ! With over 30 members the Derwent chapter is the state's largest group.

BNI Clarence group has stayed steady with a solid core of 20 members. However the group has big plans for lots of visitors over the next few months. Watch this space !

There are two new core groups in training - BNI Wellington representing the Kingborough area and BNI Salamanca, a second Hobart city chapter.
Both are progressing well through their training and have Visitors Days scheduled for early July !

4 Year Member

Please join with me in congratulating Graeme Facy who has achieved 4 years of membership in BNI. This makes him one of BNI Tasmania's longest serving members.
Graeme possesses a wealth of knowledge about the BNI process and funnily enough about his own industry - IT.
Arrange a dance card with him to ask him why BNI is growing in strength.

Training Sessions

Previously new members who have attended stated they had benefited enormously from the session and members of their respective chapters will certainly notice a difference in their presentations.
Don't forget, if you haven't booked in for a member success programme training session you must do so within 60 days of joining BNI. You can do this via the BNI website.
Just login, go to upcoming events, select Member Success Programme Training and book in !
If you haven't attended training for at least two years it's well worth it ! The Member Success programme has changed in many ways so it's advisable to update your skills.
Book early to avoid disappointment.
